Choose from seven drive modes, including Normal, Eco, Trail, Deep Snow/Sand, Slippery, Sport, and Tow/Haul. If you choose Intelligent 4WD, you will get the available 12.3” digital cluster display with HD 3D graphics.

Towing Capabilities

Standard on the 2020 Ford Explorer, trailer sway control automatically brakes and adjusts engine power to keep your trailer stable. Looking to tow a very heavy trailer? When properly equipped, the 2020 Ford Explorer can tow up to 5,600 pounds.

Want to add the Class III Trailer Package to your 2020 Ford Explorer? This package is available with the 2.3L EcoBoost® and 3.3L hybrid engines. If you choose an Explorer with the 3.0L EcoBoost® engine, this package will be standard.
