You are all part of the Sheehy Auto Stores family and our business depends on you, our team and our community. I want to share the immediate steps that we have taken to ensure your safety and health during this crisis.
We have enhanced our cleaning procedures throughout our stores. All common areas including our showrooms, service drives and customer lounges will be disinfected multiple times each day.
We have hand-sanitizers throughout our showrooms and service departments and at all other customer touchpoints. We are also using gloves where appropriate, and our team has been educated on social distancing of at least 6 feet where possible. We have developed remote methods to reduce “close contact” situations. Our lounges have been reconfigured to increase social distance. We are disinfecting vehicles after each test drive. All service vehicles are being disinfected upon their return to you to the greatest extent possible.
Our staff and you:
We have split our stores into shifts to reduce the possibility of exposure within the store. We regret any inconvenience this causes our customers, but this approach ensures that we are able to stay open to serve your needs.
All team members are being encouraged to wear masks to reduce the chance of spread when asymptomatic pursuant to the new CDC guidance. We encourage you to do the same.
All team members and customers observed to be exhibiting flu-like symptoms are being asked to vacate the premises immediately and seek medical attention. For the well-being of everyone, we are asking all team members not return to work until they have been cleared by a medical professional and deemed to be “not contagious”.
Our digital capabilities:
We are fully capable of doing off-site test drives, trade appraisals and deliveries. Please advise your sales consultant who will be happy to guide you through the SheehyDirect process on new and used vehicle sales. Our ability to do business digitally and remotely are increasing each day. Our “Sheehy It’s Easy” philosophy has never been more important than it is today: take advantage of our up-front EasyPrice and EasyTrade.
For your service needs, we will have limited pick-up and delivery at most stores based on availability. We are reducing contact throughout the service process for your safety.
We know that you have important transportation needs and our plan is to remain open and operating as an essential business to take care of you. We will continue to monitor this situation as events unfold over the next few weeks.
